The work of the
Centre for Globalisation, Education & Societies focuses on the complex interactions between globalisation, education and societies, nationally, transnationally and locally.
Scholars and students associated with the GES, which is the only centre in the UK with this specific focus, are involved in theorising and researching a very wide range of issues and questions generated by the changing sets of relationships between globalisation, societies and education, and in particular with how forms of educational policy and practice respond to and shape these interactions at a range of levels and scales.
